Richard (Dick) Holmes
Dick Holmes was recognized for his preservation of the history and heritage of Howard County history through his "Pages from Howard County Past" program on Howard County GTV Station. Dick wrote and produced 300 shows featuring historic sites, people, communities and events. His lst program was a tribute to Joetta Cramm.
Jacque Galke was recognized for her work in creating and coordinating programmed events at the Department of Recreation and Parks historical sites. Her events have provided opportunities for adults and children to experiencethe history and heritage of Howard County through demonstrations and participation.
Karen Griffith was recognized for her preservation of Howard County history nd heritage as the volunteer Manager of the Howard County Historical Society Museum. Her unique exhibits at the museum and the Howard County Fair portray the events and life in early Howard County.
Jim Eacker is remembered for his important role in the founding of Preservation Howard County and his years of service as our Treasurer. During his time on the Board of Directors he provided guidance and counsel in establishing Preservation Howard County as a recognized advocate for historic preservation.
