Bruno Reich – Preservation Daisy Schoolhouse Bruno is a contributing preservationist of Howard County history through his preservation of the Blacksmith Shop in Wilde Lake and his preservation of the Daisy Schoolhouse. This involved the documenting of the structure, disassembling, storing and delivering it to be reassembled at the Farm Heritage Museum.
Mary Catherine Cochran –Preservation Howard County Mary Catherine received the Senator James Clark, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award for the founding of and many years of leadership with Preservation Howard County and her continuing work in preserving the history and heritage of Howard County. Tiffany Ahalt –Maryland Section – National Road
Virginia Frank- Maryland Section- National Road Virginia and Tiffany are recognized for their work as President and Byway Manager of the Maryland Section of the Historic National Road in preserving its history and heritage. This involved raising awareness and respect for the first publicly funded interstate highway with: exhibits; festivals; yard sales; community presentations; informative brochure; and wayside interpretive panels and kiosks.
